Galleria* The tunnel

In passato Brescia, come molte città, era cinta da mura e all'interno vi era il nucleo storico vero e proprio. Oggi questa galleria è il passaggio principale (chiaramento non l'unico) verso il centro storico.

In the past Brescia, just like many other towns, was surrounded by the city walls and inside there was the original centre. Nowadays this tunnel is the main way (clearly not the only one) towards the historic centre.
