Palazzo Martinengo ( XVII secolo ) è un bel palazzo storico nel cuore della città, vicino a Piazza del Foro, oggi sede di mostre e interessanti percorsi storici alla riscoperta di Brescia.
In questo caso non ho voluto fotografare il palazzo vero e proprio ma l'entrata "secondaria" che apre su un bel cortile interno. Il centro storico, infatti, è costituito da vie costellate da portoni e cancelli che nascono al loro interno magnifici cortili e giardinetti. Il vero segreto della città!

Palazzo Martinengo ( XVII century ) is a beautiful historic building in the heart fo the town, just next to Piazza del Foro, today is a place for interesting exhibitions about historic Brescia.
I didn't want to take a picture of the building itself but I depicted the secondary entrance instead, opening on a lovely courtyard. The historic centre is indeed made up of little streets with main doors and gates that hide wonderful courtyards and gardens. The true secret of the town!

I love courtyard and gardens. Palazzo Martinengo is the same of Martinengo, the art gallery?
This is one of the few thing I know of Brescia: one of the painters I like more is Giovanni Battista Moroni.
Looks wonderful; a great place to wander around and enjoy the beauty!
